Portfolio Manager
Michael is an accomplished Portfolio Manager, having worked in the Investment industry for over 25 years. Michael is the lead Portfolio Manager for the All Cap North American Dividend Focused NCM Norrep Fund. Previously Michael was at Sentry Investments for 17 years as a Senior Vice President and Head of the Equity Income Group.

Michael employs an Income Free Cash Flow style that emphasizes the stability of cash flows and a growing dividend stream. As well, Michael checks and scrutinizes company balance sheets to see if there are any stress points.
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and has completed both the Canadian Options Course and the Canadian Futures Course.
He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
Michael invests primarily in dividend champions. These are companies that pay a consistent dividend or have increased their dividend. The Fund uses the dividends to compound income over time.
Michael has over 25 years of experience in actively managing investments. He has seen multiple economic cycles and how markets react. He specializes in dividend and income-paying securities with a focus on free cash flow to sustain reliable dividends.
The Fund can invest up to 49% in U.S. equities depending upon Michael's market outlook. This gives diversification in the North American markets with an experienced Portfolio Manager.
NCM Norrep Fund invests with an all-cap approach, adding more investment opportunities in the North American investment universe.

On November 12, 2020, the investment objective of NCM Norrep Fund was changed from a focus on small capitalization Canadian equities to broader mandate focused on dividend-paying Canadian and U.S. equities of all capitalization.
